      Thankyou: It seems now since my last writing that I have not completely disassembled the lantern, particularly the washer No. 193 you spoke of. It doesn't seem to want to come apart there without breaking it. Thanks for sending this info.... K

      Hi: Thanks for the reply.
      Here is the latest: It was suggested on another forum with different manufacturer to let tank soak with alcohol to help remove any accumulated lacquer formed inside, which I did. A few days later i emptied it and found evidence of water with a bit of a rust color. Then I went looking for this other washer you mentioned but only found the brass compression type
      join, no rubber.
      The needle seems slightly bent besides the fact that it leaks when there is the least amount of pressure in the tank. Still learning how these things work, thanks for any suggestions.
